The terrace on the Southern side of the Castle provides a spacious place for your ceremony and guests. Native flowers bloom and scent the air, while the trees and Castle provide a contrasting background. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome at your Gillette Castle wedding ceremony!
A ride aboard the ferry boat Selden III provides a great view of the Castle and the Connecticut River. Your guests would probably enjoy taking the ferry across the Connecticut River to your Castle wedding! There is great variety in Middlesex County weddings.
Some couples enjoy having their pictures taken near the lily pond or on one of the stone bridges on the Gillette Castle grounds. Photographers love it too! This part of Gillette Castle State Park is cool and quiet, even in the height of the tourist season.
Gillette Castle is in Middlesex County, Connecticut. There is no county government in Connecticut, and you don't need to have a Middlesex County Justice of the Peace for a Castle wedding.
